Registered users are permitted to send email to other registered users via the Message Board. This is regular email and will go to the receipent's regular mailbox. Messages are regular private email and can NOT be viewed by any one else via this board. In order for someone to send you an email, you must answer YES to the option 'Always show my Email Address' in your profile. Remember, this does allow your actual email address to be seen. When someone clicks on 'Email' for your username, a 'blind' link to your email address is created - all the sender sees in the 'To' line is your Message Board username. IMPORTANT: If you join a usergroup to receive automatic update notifications, you MUST answer YES to the option 'Always show my Email Address' in your profile.
